CAREER GPS - Weekly Action Steps
THE SIGNAL
Welcome to Career GPS!
Career GPS exists to help you cut through the noise and get oriented.
Not more content.
Not more motivation.
Just clear direction.
Every Tuesday, this newsletter will give you:
one perspective shift
one clear task
zero overwhelm
Think of this as your weekly reset.
Perspective Shift
Clarity comes before execution
A lot of artists ask:
“What should I be working on right now?”
A better question is:
“What stage of my career am I in and what actually matters at this stage?”
Clarity doesn’t come from doing more.
It comes from aiming your effort in the right direction.
When you try to build, promote, grow, and monetize all at once, everything feels heavy.
When you focus on what belongs to now, momentum gets lighter.
This Week’s Career GPS Task
Align Your Focus
Set aside 5–10 minutes and do this:
Step 1: Capture your reality
Write down everything you’re currently working on in your music career.
(Projects, platforms, goals, ideas, offers — all of it.)
Step 2: Find what’s actually working
Circle the things that are:
getting consistent attention
creating momentum
aligned with where your energy naturally goes
These usually point to your current stage, not your ideal one.
Step 3: Spot what doesn’t belong yet
Cross out anything that feels:
forced
premature
exhausting
like it’s borrowed from a future version of your career
What does the work that’s actually moving tell me to focus on right now?
Let that focus guide your next move.
Career GPS — Alignment Check
This is why clarity matters
Most frustration comes from trying to solve future-stage problems in the present.
You’re not behind.
You’re just misaligned.
When your focus matches your stage, decisions get clearer and progress starts to feel natural again.
What to do next
Save this email.
Come back to it this week.
Notice how much easier decisions feel when you stop trying to do everything at once.
If you want this kind of clarity every day, Career GPS App is launching soon.
Until next week,
