If you do this one thing in week 1 - 2026 will feel different

Hey ,

Before I talk about programs, cohorts, or anything else
I want to give you something you can actually use this week.

If you asked me: “What’s the first thing every artist should do in 2026 to set themselves up for a successful year?

”My answer is simple: Start with a clear vision then build the foundation to support it.

Not vibes.
Not motivation.
Clarity.

Step 1: Define what “success” actually means for you in 2026

Most artists say they want to “go harder” this year. That’s not a vision!

A vision answers questions like:

  • What does a successful year look like in real life?

  • What are 3–5 outcomes that would make you proud on Dec 31, 2026?

  • How does your career support your life, not just your streams?

This can be:

  • A written list

  • A notes app doc

  • A visual vision board

  • Or a single page you keep coming back to

The format doesn’t matter. Clarity does.

If you can’t clearly describe what you’re working toward, you’ll default to reacting instead of building.

Step 2: Set up your foundation for communication & connection

Your career doesn’t move through talent alone.

It moves through relationships.

So the next thing to lock in is how people can reach you—and how you show up when they do.

Ask yourself:

  • How do fans follow you, hear from you, and stay connected?

  • How do collaborators, producers, managers, or brands contact you?

  • Is your communication clean… or confusing?

This is where a lot of artists unintentionally block their own growth.

Opportunities don’t just appear.

They flow through clear channels.

Your simple, high-value Week One action (do this in under 60 minutes)

Here’s a free exercise I give artists I work with:

The 2026 Foundation Check

  1. Write down your top 3 goals for the year (very specific).

  2. For each goal, answer:

  • Who needs to know I exist for this to happen?

  • How would they find me today?

3. Audit your basics:

  •   One main link (site, Linktree, etc.)

  •   One clear bio that says who you are and what you’re building

  •   One consistent way people can contact or follow you

That’s it.

No spending money.

No fancy tools.

Just alignment.

Artists who do this early stop wasting months “being busy” without progress.

Why I’m sharing this

Because I don’t believe artists lack talent.

I think they lack structure and guidance at the right moment.

And that’s exactly what we focus on inside our January 2026 Foundation Cohort.

Over 8 weeks, I work closely with a small group of artists to:

  • Clarify their vision

  • Build a real foundation

  • Create a plan they can actually execute

  • And stop guessing their next move

No pressure.

Use the free exercise above first.

If it helps, you’ll understand why the cohort feels like a no-brainer.
